Seasonal Caravan Pitches

For now, we are not adding any more names onto our waiting list for a seasonal tourer pitch.

Looking to go on holiday whenever you fancy throughout the summer months? Looking to set up your touring caravan and awning and leave it for the season? Then a seasonal pitch may be for you!

2024 Season is 1st April until the 31st October for Statics and Seasonals (Subject to change)

From only £1,420 you could park up at our campsite and visit as often as you please throughout the season … with no planning and no booking! Avoid towing through Norfolk’s Friday night traffic, and no worries about vacating your pitch early in the morning! Leave clothing, basic non-perishable food, and turn up with minimum packing! Explore the beautiful Norfolk coast and leave no stone unturned!

Additionally, not only can you can benefit, but friends and family are welcome to use your caravan too. (Although we kindly ask you not to sublet, and as you will be responsible for anyone who uses your caravan please make sure they know and abide by park rules).

It really is as great as it sounds! Pitches are in high demand, and currently we are full on our electrical seasonal plots, and have a waiting list. However, we do have non-electric plots available. Please contact the office if you want to find out about the non-electric plots available or wish to be added to our electrical seasonal waiting list.

A holiday in Norfolk whenever you please? It’s not as much as you think! A non-electric plot is £1,420, a grass electric plot is £1,660 or a Shingle/slab electric plot is £1,830. This is either paid in full before the start of the season or alternatively in two instalments due by 1st April and the 30th June and there is no surcharge for paying in two instalments.

Additionally, as an extra service to our customers, we offer seasonal tourers caravan insurance. Requesting a quote can be done by contacting the office. It’s a Diglea caravan park requirement that you are insured, and although you don't need to take out insurance with us, you will need to provide us with a copy of your insurance certificate.

Gallagher can offer an insurance policy to cover your Holiday Home on a New for Old replacement basis. Subject to your Structure sum insured being adequate, cover is provided for the replacement cost of a new holiday home, including decking, balcony or patio, outbuildings and the cost of removing debris and re-siting a new unit following a total loss. If the manufactures of your caravan no longer make your unit, you will be replaced with its nearest equivalent. Contents cover is also available. Clothing, bedding and linen is covered on a Market Value basis.

Alternatively, you could opt for market value cover. A market value policy can mean the policy premium might be less than a new for old policy, however, if the caravan was damaged beyond repair you may only receive the resale market value of your caravan (which could be much lower than you realise). For example if you purchased a sited van for £10,000, you are paying for the caravan itself but also the plot as well (and sometimes site fees too). Therefore, the resale market value may be significantly lower. If you're not sure what your resale market value is, we can provide you with further information in the office, which may help make up your mind as to which insurance is suitable for you.

As Winter approaches, seasonal tourers can leave their caravan on their pitch throughout the winter (when the park is closed) for an extra £100 (called winter storage). To do this, please contact reception. We will request that you take down your awning and secure your caravan to prevent any damage throughout the winter.
